Hello dear passengers!
On behalf of the entire FLYONE team, we sincerely and warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the winter holidays and wish you a Happy New Year!
2023 has been marked by challenges as well as remarkable successes. We are proud to announce that this year, for the first time for an airline in Moldova, more than 2 million passengers travelled on board of FLYONE aircraft. Furthermore, we successfully inaugurated 14 new flights to Berlin, Munich, Bologna, Larnaca, Madrid, Milan, Rome, London Stansted, Tbilisi, Valencia, Venice, Dubai, Zanzibar and, last but not least, Sri Lanka, a dream destination, which will be launched on December 27.
However, we also faced many challenges, the most significant being the uncertain security situation in the Republic of Moldova, which did not allow us to receive three aircraft. This caused disruptions to the summer timetable, with delays and cancellations. To deal with the situation, we have taken urgent action and our joint efforts have paid off. Towards the end of the year, we managed to complete the fleet with three aircraft, so that all flights are now operating normally.
All these amazing achievements would not have been possible without your support and trust. Our passenger, you have inspired us to evolve and become even better, and we are grateful to you for that. We also thank you for choosing to travel with us.
In 2024, we promise to keep progressing, to learn from your experiences and to provide you with flights to new fascinating destinations. In the coming year, we will supplement the fleet with three more aircraft, which will allow us to expand our flight network, increase the frequency of our flights and ensure greater punctuality. Our new destinations will include Prague (Czech Republic) and Thessaloniki (Greece), and more are under consideration. So in 2024, we will have over 60 destinations to fly to.
Also starting in 2024, FLYONE Airlines, a new company in our group, will start operating flights from Romania’s largest airports to dream destinations. Thus, starting with the summer season, flights will be inaugurated to the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria (Spain), the island of Kos (Greece), as well as the cities of Heraklion (Greece), Antalya (Turkey), Bodrum (Turkey), Larnaca (Cyprus) and Hurghada (Egypt).
